This is a truly great piece of animation that illustrates the rich history of the Northern Swedish city of Umeå as we gear up to its City Of Culture representation in 2014. This is the kind of work that makes me think “why didn’t i think of something like that?”, yeah. Many of my favorite hardcore bands came from up that way in the early 90s, and Umeå served as a great representation in positive Youth Culture to a boy in his early teens. Enjoy.

Its been a little while since I did anything with Mike Kinsella, so… …Here is the preview of the upcoming American football shirt I designed for the fine folk over at polyvinyl. It will be available to buy from next month. American Football would have easily fallen  into “my most listened to top 5 in the year 2000”, only releasing 1 full length, a 3 song E.P and a million copycat bands in the wake of their super early retirement back in 2001, The aforementioned E.P has just recently seen new life in the form of a one sided 12 inch that arrives wrapped up in a handsome sleeve photographed by  Chris Strong. All this is available from polyvinylrecords.com The shirt will land next month form there too.

So the new fulman is at the printers right now, this is what it looks like. i am making a small run of this particular design and most of them have gone in pre orders already. This is a special fulman for me and the second to embrace Long island Dutch Colonial architecture that i love so much. Thethreetheads.com will have some as will fulman.com, however i do advise you pre order this one in advance as it will go very fast… The shirts will be shipping from mid Feb and total up at £20 including Shipping within the EU…15% extra for the rest of the world.
